NCWIT Pacesetter and Work Force Alliance member SpotXchange took some very creative photos with the red chair at their annual year-end meeting.

University of Washington CSE David Notkin was recognized by UW for being selected to be featured on the Sit With Me homepage.

NCWIT Aspirations Award Winner Allison Collier blogged about her experience at the National Awards ceremony. Sit With Me was a part of the award show.

The Red Chair was on stage at the TM Forum in Orlando Dec 5th where attendees were treated to a thought-provoking breakfast presentation by Avis Yates Rivers, President and CEO of Technology Concepts Group and NCWIT board member and high school senior, Caitlin Sheridan, an Aspirations in Computing award winner and future astronaut.

Sit With Me teamed up with the Syracuse University School of Information Studies to hold events on the campus. Chancellor Nancy Cantor took a seat in the Red Chair to take a stand for women in STEM programs.

On March 9th, 2012 Microsoft held 50 different events all over the world, including this one in Croatia (English translation) to help celebrate International Women’s Day.

In Kentucky, Murray State University President Dr. Randy Dunn sat in the Red Chair in support of getting more young women and girls into computing.

Sit With Me was joined by the COO of Facebook  Sheryl Sandberg as a part of an event that Facebook held on November 7, 2011 at their Silicon Valley headquarters.

In December 2011, The Red Chair made an appearance at Denver International Airport as part of a photo shoot with United Airlines to talk about women in technical leadership roles.
